WELLKids – "that they might put their hope in God" Psalm 78:1-8
At The Well, we love kids. The Bible teaches that kids are a blessing from God to be valued, loved, encouraged, and learned from. Contrary to what our culture sometimes tells us, kids are not a burdensome responsibility or annoyance. Because of this, we take very seriously the care and upbringing of our kids, and we love to have kids present worshiping Jesus as much as their little souls can alongside their parents.
We are also committed to supporting families in raising their children through gospel-centered teaching and training, as well as by developing teachers to provide great, age-focused WELLKids ministry during our Sunday gatherings. We believe that parents have been given the first call in raising their children in Jesus, and have been equipped to do so by the Spirit. We seek to partner with the parents on Sunday Mornings a few ways: 1) Giving parents a time to rest in Jesus by diving in His Word kid free. 2) Providing Parents opportunities to practice their calling to teach in a safe environment while partnering with our trained children’s ministry team.
Sundays (Infant to 4th Grade)
We offer childcare for infants through fourth grade while the adults are participating in gospel-centered teaching. We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before worship begins to check-in and ask any questions you have. Every child is securely checked in and out each week and sent home with crafts and lessons to review with their parents.
Missional Community Groups
In Missional Community Groups we work to involve our kids every week by including them in the meal, occasionally in our prayer times, and serving opportunities. We believe it is important for kids to watch adults worship and do life together in Christian community.
