The Well is a new Church that meets in Buda, Texas. We are a mix of people whose lives are dependent upon the fact that we receive the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. To help describe what we are, it may be helpful to know what we are not: We are not made up of people who “have it all figured out” or who “have their act together.”We are not part of a “movement,” fad, or trend. We do not exist to become rich with money or resources. We do not isolate ourselves from society and the rest of the world. We are real people living real lives in the real world with real problems, real struggles, and real joys.
At The Well, you will find Jesus followers and Jesus doubters. Some have a background with Christianity, some have a background of hating Christianity. Nevertheless, because Jesus Christ honestly deals with our human nature and life, because Jesus won forgiveness for us, because he alone provides the way for frighteningly imperfect people to be embraced by a perfect God, live a meaningful life, and enter a perfect place; because of this, we follow Jesus.
Our purpose is simple: to serve people and adore Christ. We want to adore Christ not only with church services but also with our lives. We love people, and we set up no human prerequisites for people to be loved, cared for, and served. You are welcome to come to The Well, develop personally, and impact your community.
